LOCAL ATTORNEY ESTABLISHES AQUIDNECK LEGAL CENTER
Middletown
Law Offices Open in November
(MIDDLETOWN, RI - October 29, 2004) - - After seventeen years as a practicing attorney, ten years in legal partnership in East Providence, and a four year daily commute from Middletown to Providence, local attorney Joseph P. Casale has tipped the scales in favor of Aquidneck Island.
As of November 1, the Aquidneck Legal Center will be established under the leadership of Attorney Casale. With a mission to provide affordable legal services to all, the Legal Center will also offer free seminars to educate the public on legal rights and requirements.
"So many people are intimidated by the law. They are confused about their legal choices and legal rights," states Attorney Casale. "My goal is to clarify the law so people can make informed choices in their lives."
Over the course of his career, Attorney Casale has made it a priority to offer legal services to middle and lower class individuals. "Too often people in our society can not afford to talk to a lawyer about basic rights," states Casale.
Attorney Casale is the 2004 recipient of the Rhode Island Bar Association Dorothy Lohmann Award for Public Service and a frequent volunteer panelist on NBC's Ask A Lawyer. Casale puts his words into action with this demonstrated commitment to pro bono services.
Formerly of East Providence law firm, Rappoport, DiGiovanni, & Castlowitz, Casale is a 1987 graduate of Quinnipiac Law School and a 1983 graduate of Rhode Island College. He resides in Middletown, Rhode Island with his wife and four children.
