With the approach of tax season people often take a hard look at personal and professional finances.  For many, the financial picture is bleak.

Whether it is from illness, job loss, divorce, poor money management or any number of life’s challenges, financial duress is a stress-filled hardship.   Join us Wednesday,

FAQ’s Regarding Wills
A Will is the only document recognized by the court that gives property, personal and realty, to an individual upon the death of another. If, for instance, you would like to leave your niece a special necklace or perhaps your grandson a prize set of tools, you must do it by will.  Otherwise, these items go directly to your children.

A Living Will is the only document under law that allows a third party to make medical decisions for another. You insure that your wishes regarding medical treatment, particularly in a time of emergency, are honored.

Power of Attorney is the only document recognized under law in which one person can act on behalf of another.  This is very useful in circumstances where, for example, one spouse is often absent from the state.  Perhaps the spouse is on active duty with the military or travels frequently.  Or, for instance, elderly parents may find a living will helpful in allowing their children to assistant in the management of the parents’ activities.
