The complex issues of estate planning, Medicare and Medicaid, durable power of attorney, etc., can prove to be both confusing and intimidating. While many people fear contacting an attorney because of concerns about the cost, elder law and the rights of seniors is ever-changing and complex. The Aquidneck Legal Center is involved with many non-profit causes, the chief one being the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). The mission of the JDRF is to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. This summer Attorney Casale will participate in the 4th Annual Tee Up To Cure Diabetes golf tournament, Monday, July 18, 2005, 1:00PM, Quidnessett Country Club, North Kingstown, RI. During the months ahead, Attorney Casale will speak with many Rhode Island civic groups on a variety of topics. Provided at no cost to the group, the presentation generally focuses on the area of interest specific to that group. For instance, if your local group is involved with area youth, Attorney Casale can discuss how the legal system manages juveniles. Or perhaps you are a member of a local senior group and would like a presentation on wills and trusts. He can present the facts regarding these matters and then open the room for questions and answers.
